Full-foil brightness

Full Highlights in Louisville, KY

Full highlights are the service to book when you want brightness everywhere — top, back, sides, underneath. In my Louisville chair, full highlights are placed with intention: enough saturation for real brightness, enough dimension left behind so it doesn't read flat.

What it is

A full-highlight service foils the entire head — front, back, top and underneath — for the most saturated, all-over brightness we can build in one sit. It's the standard when you want a big change, a bright blonde, or a bold dimensional lift.

Even 'full' highlights are placed with dimension in mind. I leave weaved-out lowlights in the mix so the finish still has depth, and every service includes a bond-builder plus a custom toner or gloss to lock in the exact tone we agreed on.

What to expect

  1. Consultation — we plan brightness, placement and toner.
  2. Bond-protected full-foil lightening, weaved for dimension.
  3. Custom toner / gloss mixed for your exact undertone.
  4. Cut and finish so you leave seeing the full vision.
  5. Maintenance every 8–14 weeks depending on how bright you want to stay.

Pricing & timing

Full highlights are priced by the work — hair length, density and toning needs affect timing. I quote in consultation.

FAQ

What's the difference between full and partial highlights?

Full highlights foil the entire head — top, back, sides and underneath — for all-over brightness. Partial highlights foil only the top and sides (roughly what shows when your hair is down), skipping the underneath. Full is a bigger change and holds brightness longer; partial is a lower-lift refresh.

How long do full highlights take?

Full-highlight appointments run longer than partials because there's more hair to foil, process and tone. I book plenty of time so nothing is rushed — your exact appointment length is confirmed after the consult.

How often should I get full highlights?

Most guests refresh full highlights every 8–14 weeks depending on how bright they want to stay. Between sessions, a gloss or partial can keep the finish fresh.

Are full highlights bad for your hair?

Any lightening service is a chemical process, but every full-highlight service in my chair includes a bond-builder. If your hair isn't a candidate for a full lift in one session, I'll tell you in the consult and build a multi-session plan.

Can I go from full highlights to balayage?

Yes — many of my Louisville guests transition from full highlights to balayage over one or two sessions when they want a lower-maintenance grow-out. We plan the transition in consultation.
